Matthew Jannif is an internationally experienced tennis professional with more than 30 years of coaching experience and over 40,000 hours of on-court instruction.
Having competed internationally and coached players in more than 20 countries, Matthew combines world-class expertise with a friendly, approachable coaching style that makes every player feel welcome.
Whether you’re picking up a racket for the very first time or preparing for high-level tournament competition, every lesson is carefully customized to help you improve efficiently while enjoying the game.
International Recognition & Global Tennis Connections
Throughout his career, Matthew Jannif has had the opportunity to meet and learn from many of the world’s most respected figures in tennis.
One memorable occasion was meeting Tracy Austin, former World No. 1 and two-time US Open singles champion, at the USPTA World Conference held at the famous La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California.
Events like these have allowed Matthew to exchange ideas with leading players and coaches from around the world, helping him continuously refine his coaching philosophy and bring international knowledge to every lesson at MOTENNIS.

Throughout his career, Matthew Jannif has had the privilege of learning from and connecting with many of the world’s most respected tennis coaches and players.
One such experience was meeting Wayne Bryan, one of America’s most respected tennis coaches, at the renowned Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida.
Wayne Bryan is best known as the father and coach of Bob and Mike Bryan, the most successful men’s doubles team in tennis history and former World No. 1 doubles champions.
Experiences like these have helped shape Matthew’s international coaching philosophy, allowing him to bring world-class knowledge and proven teaching methods to every lesson at MOTENNIS.

Throughout his career, Matthew Jannif has had the privilege of learning from many of the most influential figures in international tennis.
Among them is Nick Bollettieri, the legendary tennis coach and founder of the world-renowned Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, the organization that later became today’s IMG Academy.
Matthew met Nick at several USPTA World Conferences, where they exchanged ideas on player development, coaching philosophy, and the qualities required to become a truly well-rounded tennis professional.
These experiences have played an important role in shaping Matthew’s coaching approach, allowing him to combine international knowledge with practical, player-focused instruction at MOTENNIS.

One such opportunity was meeting Emilio Sánchez, former World No. 7 in singles, former World No. 1 in doubles, five-time Grand Slam doubles champion, and founder of the renowned Emilio Sánchez Academy.
Matthew visited the academy in Naples, Florida, where he and Emilio discussed elite junior player development and explored opportunities for talented young players from Asia to train at one of the world’s leading tennis academies.
Experiences like these have strengthened Matthew’s international network and broadened his understanding of high-performance player development, bringing valuable global insights to every lesson at MOTENNIS.
